Slamdance 2009: Panorama Entertainment Acquires The Ante

If you’re a fan of dark comedy, horror, film noirs and western genres, this news is for you. Panorama Entertainment has acquired US distribution rights for Max Perrier’s The Ante. The picture will run through festivals followed by an platform theatrical release in the spring. You can read all the details below.

Panorama Entertainment Antes up for THE ANTE

Panorama Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to the Slamdance Narrative Feature Competition Entry The Ante. The Ante, directed by Max Perrier and produced by Peter Proffit Pictures screened in the Narrative Feature Competition section of the 2009 Slamdance Film Festival.  An innocent encounter escalates into a nightmare.  The ante keeps getting upped in a game of cat and mouse.  Winner takes all, but looser looses all, and the stakes are higher than anyone can afford.

A festival run is planned, followed by a platform theatrical release in late spring.
